Epic fail….but not really

Tonight I made these cute little cinnamon sugar marshmallow rolls (also known as resurrections rolls for the more churchy at heart).  It was in an effort to try and cope with the stress we’ve been dealing with trying to get our West Elm curtain rods delivered.   C sat on the phone for over an hour trying to figure out where on earth the damn thing is (imagine West Elm and delivery company standing in a room pointing fingers at each other).

So, while he was on the phone and occasionally listening to my peanut gallery comments, I decided to whip up these babies.  They are super easy to make and remind me a little of the middle of a Cinnabon.   Using crescent rolls to wrap marshmallows that have been dipped in butter, then rolled in cinnamon and sugar,  and finally baked in the oven at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

These are what they are supposed to look like…

However…they were a slight failure. Only in form though. The taste was wonderful.

Note to self:  next time make sure to fully pinch any seams and do a little neater job in wrapping the marshmallows.

  1. My boyfriend in college used to make these all the time! I had totally forgotten about them…and how yummy they are!
